James Henry Askin, for whom the suite is named, was the individual whose 293 acre property encompassed Wayne in the 19th century. Mr. Askin’s stately home, “Louella”, stands less than 1 block from the Wayne Hotel and can be seen from the living room window in The Askin Suite.
Beautifully decorated and located on the second floor of the hotel, the suite’s bedroom boasts a beautiful king sized mahogany four-post bed and a flat-screen TV. The suite also features three closets, one of which is designed to accommodate a full length gown.
The Askin Suite features a spacious living room with a queen-sized sofa-bed, a flat-screen TV and a wet bar.
The suite also features a separate study with a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating.
The luxurious Carrera marble bathroom features a double vanity and an oversized shower with dual shower heads, one of which is a rain-shower head.
