“I just wanted to take the time to extend to you my deepest gratitude to all of the staff at The Radnor Hotel who had a hand in making my Friday, July 8, 2011 wedding the perfect experience. From the front desk staff who greeted our guests, to the day of attendants, to the banquet manager, our guests had a wonderful time at our wedding and we have heard from many, many people that it was the “best wedding” that they “ever attended”. The bridesmaids and groomsmen really enjoyed the presentation of the bridal suite and the wait staff who constantly checked on them to make sure that we had enough of everything! My neighbors and family will not stop talking about how wonderful the wait staff was. Our wedding was perfect- every detail. Even though everyone thinks they had the perfect wedding, I really believe mine was something out of a fairytale. The room never looked as beautiful as it did the night of my wedding. I have talked to several people who attended the wedding, and our breakfast the next day, and I have heard nothing but the best compliments about both. The Radnor Hotel really took the time to make my wedding special. I will always talk about The Radnor Hotel using the highest compliments, and will tell all of my friends in the future to look at The Radnor Hotel to hold a wedding reception. I thank everyone involved for making my wedding what other people call “the best wedding” and for what we call “the perfect wedding”.

A wonderful time was had by families at the December Children’s Saturday Afternoon Holiday Teas at The Radnor Hotel.  The Toy Soldier welcomed everybody, and the Snow Angel entertained children with lively Holiday stories and crafts all the while our expert pianist set the festive mood in preparation for family caroling. Families were delighted with the house-made scones, and enjoyed the variety of tea sandwiches.

Put on your running shoes and head out to the 34th Annual Penn Medicine Radnor Run on Sunday, October 30. Participants can register for the 5-mile run or the 1-mile fun run/walk. All proceeds from the event benefit the American Lung Association in Pennsylvania to help fight lung disease through education, research, and advocacy. On June 11, 2011 our daughter was married at The Radnor Hotel.  We can’t say enough about the excellent service we and our guest experienced.  From the rehearsal through the clean up everything was flawless.  Jen, our onsite coordinator was everywhere with grace and a smile on her face.  Her calm demeanor helped calm our nerves and we really enjoyed every minute of the wedding. The banquet coordinator was also excellent and we are sorry her name has slipped our minds but her helpfulness will not be easily forgotten.  Despite the threat of rain the team made a tremendous effort to accommodate the ceremony and was prepared to have it either inside or outside.  The waiters who served the wedding party and table 9 were superb.  Many times during the night we heard “this is the best wedding I have ever attended.”
Please extend our grateful appreciation to all who were involved in making this very important day for our daughter and new son-in-law a great success.
