Justin Rose wins at The Radnor

Among the Professional Golfers who experienced the warm hospitality of The Radnor was Justin Rose, winner of the 2010 AT&T National Golf Tournament at Aronimink Golf Club.  This marks the second PGA victory for Mr. Rose.

John Waters at the Wayne Hotel

The Wayne Hotel recently welcomed legendary counterculture filmmaker, actor and writer John Waters.  Mr. Waters brought his one-man show An Evening with John Waters: This Filthy World to Bryn Mawr College’s Goodhart Theater.
Waters is famed the world over for his cult-movie classics, including Mondo Trasho, Pink Flamingos, and Polyester. He gained a wider audience with 1988’s campy comedy Hairspray later adapted into a hugely successful Broadway musical that spawned 2007’s Hairspray, one of the most successful musical motion pictures of all time.

The Capitol Steps at The Radnor

The crowd at the Main Line Chamber of Commerce Annual Red Carpet Dinner learned that nothing is sacred in the hands of Capitol Steps! The Capitol Steps is an American political satire group based in Washington DC and claim to have “put the ‘mock’ in ‘democracy.”  They have been performing since 1981 and have released close to thirty albums consisting primarily of song parodies. Originally, made up exclusively of Congressional staffers performing around Washington, D. C., the troupe now primarily employs professional actors and singers. The Capitol Steps have been …
