The Wayne Hotel was originally built as a hotel in 1906. In the 1950’s it became a retirement home and then in the early 1980’s it was used as a synagogue. In 1984, it was purchased by local entrepreneur Stephen Bajus and was re-opened as a hotel in 1985.
