Paramour invites you to attend an exclusive wine pairing dinner with Isabelle Moreau, winemaker from the historic House of Monmousseau located at the heart of the Loire Valley in Montrichard, France. The intimate dinner will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, with a gathering in the Lobby Lounge beginning at 7:30PM. After sampling the aromatic and expressive Touraine Rose, Monmousseau “Cuvee JM” with a selection of Paramour’s exquisite hors d’oeuvres, guests will be seated for dinner in the elegant Salon where Executive Chef Kyle Johnson and Sommelier Steven Gullo will pair four special courses with extraordinary Loire Valley wines from the Monmousseau collection.
Chef Kyle and his staff at Paramour have created some seductive food pairings highlighting the flavors and aromas of the wine, including Mussels and Fingerling Potatoes in a Lobster Nage paired with a crisp and dry 2011 Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine, Arctic Char with Duo of Celery Root and a Meuniere Vinaigrette paired with a complex and elegant 2011 Cheverny Blanc and Braised Short Ribs and Beurre Noisette Potatoes paired with an intense and silky 2009 Monmousseau Chinon.
During the gathering and dinner you will have the opportunity to speak with the Chef and Sommelier about each carefully selected pairing and with Isabelle Moreau about the fascinating history of Monmousseau and the traditional production and blending of these prestigious Loire Valley still and sparkling wines. We look forward to sharing the character, elegance and authenticity of these very special pairings with you so you can see for yourself why The House of Monmousseau has earned such an outstanding world-wide reputation.
