The Rose of Tralee is one of Ireland’s oldest (since 1959) and largest festivals. It is a world wide celebration of Irish culture and heritage. The Philadelphia Rose of Tralee was established in 2002, giving young women of Irish descent from the Philadelphia region the chance to participate in one of Ireland’s most beloved traditions. The Philadelphia Rose Selection & Dinner will be held on April 11th at The Radnor Hotel. Jim Donovan of CBS3 will join as Master of Ceremonies and David Brennan, General Manager of the Wayne Hotel (who hails from Limerick, Ireland,) will Chair the 2014 judging panel.
