Le Beaujolais nouveau est arrivé! November is such an exciting month for the vintners of Beaujolais. This region in southern Burgundy is unique for its red wines from the Gamay grape. Every year on the third Thursday of November, millions of bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau are released to the world.
In honor of the occasion, Paramour’s Chef has crafted a three-course menu of French-inspired cuisine to pair with their Sommelier’s selections of Beaujolais. Start with your choice of Soupe A L’oignon or Vol Au Vent Aux Escargots. Next, choose the Coq Au Vin, a red wine braised game hen with cipollini onions, mushrooms and heirloom polenta or Cassoulet Au Confit De Canard, a Rohan duck leg confit with white beans, Andouille sausage and Tuscan kale for your entree. Then, finish with the Tarte Tatin, a caramelized honey-crisp apple tart with vanilla gelato for dessert. Enjoy this special prix fixe menu for just $39 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and specially priced premium selections of Beaujolais by the glass or bottle from Thursday, November 20 – Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
