The Radnor Hotel, proud sponsor of the 38th Annual Penn Medicine Radnor Run benefitting the American Lung Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, hosted the Packet Pick-Up Party and Sponsor Appreciation Reception in the elegant Terrace Room on Friday evening, October 23, 2015. Radnor Run committee members and sponsors, Radnor Township officials, and participants enjoyed hospitality provided by The Radnor. Anita Sayers accepted the recognition plaque on behalf of The Radnor Hotel from Michael Carr, Philadelphia Leadership Board Member for the American Lung Association.
On Sunday, October 25, 2015, The Radnor Red Racers, represented by staff and family members of The Radnor Hotel, were not discouraged by the early morning drizzle as the race set off at 8:30 am. The challenging 5-mile run was perfect practice for The Radnor’s Madeline Ostrander as she trains for a half marathon in November. Madeline was the first Red Racer to cross the finish line in under 45 minutes! Front Desk Supervisor, Kou Voker, brought along her four daughters, sister and niece who all enjoyed the 1-mile fun run and received finishing medals to show their accomplishment.
