Larry Bowa, former major league shortstop, coach and manager of the Philadelphia Phillies, was the keynote speaker at the Sports Legends of Delaware County Museum luncheon held at The Radnor Hotel on Thursday, September 30, 2021. The event commemorated the 51st anniversary since the last Phillies game at Connie Mack Stadium and the 50th anniversary of the first season played at Veterans Stadium. Other notable sports stars included Bobby Shantz, former major league pitcher for the Philadelphia Athletics and Phillies.
